New Delhi, Oct 07: The Central Bureau of Investigation which is probing the Sushant Singh Rajput case has not ruled out abetment to suicide. It may be recalled that the AIIMS report had ruled out murder.
While foul play has been ruled out, the next angle that is being probed is abetment to suicide, an official told OneIndia. Rhea Chakraborty continues to remain under the scanner for abetment to suicide.
New Delhi, Sep 04: The Central Bureau of Investigation has said that certain media reports with regard to the Sushant Singh Rajput case are speculative.
Officials also said that the media reports are speculative and are not based on facts. It is reiterated that as a matter of policy, the CBI does not share details of the ongoing investigation, officials also said.

Justice Hrishikesh Roy ordered a CBI probe while presiding over a single judge Bench in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Justice Roy said that to ensure public confidence in the investigation and to do complete justice in the matter, this Court considers it appropriate to invoke the powers conferred by Article 142 of the Constitution.

The Supreme Court was hearing a petition that was seeking CBI or NIA probe into the Sushant Singh case. When the case came up for hearing, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Bench that the CBI has already taken over the probe into the case.
