Did you know, 41.34 per cent voters say cash, liquor, gifts are important factors for polling?

img_0019-2New Delhi, May 14: The top priority of the voter is jobs followed by better health care. The next on the list of priorities is drinking water.

As per All India Survey 2018, conducted by the Association for Democratic Reforms Better Employment Opportunities (46.80 per cent), Better Health Care (34.60 per cent) and Drinking Water (30.50 per cent) are the top three voters’ priorities at the all India level, followed by Better Roads (28.34 per cent) and Better Public Transport (27.35 per cent) at the fourth and the fifth place, respectively.

With 72.36 per cent polling Karnataka beats its 1978 record

It was a new record in Karnataka. The official figure where the voting percentage for the Karnataka assembly elections which was held on May 12 stood at 72.36. There were 5.06 crore people who exercised their franchise.
