China, Pak can play ‘friends’ but India has larger plans to expose them

In October 2020, reports said that China is helping Pakistan set up sites for surface-to-air missiles in PoK and the soldiers of both the sides have been carrying out joint patrols in the region.

New Delhi, Aug 05: A Chinese construction company has been renovating bunkers and building new ones in areas adjoining Muzzafarabad an Athmuqam. It has set up an office in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The area falls under the Kel sector of the Pakistan army’s 32 decision and these sites have been camouflaged. However this is not the first time that the Chinese are undertaking activity of this nature in the region.

Earlier Beijing had sent manpower and machines to Pakistani territory opposite Bikaner in Rajasthan. A forward airbase was upgraded and over 350 stone bunkers and border outposts were refurbished. China justifies these actions citing threats to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and also its nationals working on its projects.

With 8 new routes from PoK, Pakistan’s ISI plans massive infiltration bid

New Delhi, Nov 12: The notorious terrorist, Ali Babar who was arrested by the Indian Army from Uri in Jammu and Kashmir in September revealed during his interrogation that more infiltration bids will be made from Pakistan with the help of the ISI.

His revelations come in the backdrop of the Intelligence Bureau stating that there will be many more infiltration bids made by Pakistani terrorists in the days to come. An IB official tells OneIndia that Pakistan will attempt to infiltrate more of its terrorists into the Valley.

Medical degrees from Pakistan occupied Kashmir not recognised: Why India passed this order

docsNew Delhi, Aug 18: The degrees awarded by medical colleges in Pakistan occupied Kashmir will not be recognised by India. The Medical Council of India declared in a public notice the move.

The announcement comes months after the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir asked the MCI and External Affairs Ministry to review its stand to see if students who study medicine in these territories will be allowed to practice.

No trust in Pakistan: Why the JKLF led Azadi march turned out to be a damp squib in PoK

New Delhi, Oct 07: The Azadi march from the various locations in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to the Line of Control turned out to be damp squib. Indian officials who were keeping a close watch on the march said that there were hardly around 4,000 to 5,000 people who turned up for the march as against the estimated 1 lakh.

Tension between India and Pakistan escalated after New Delhi revoked Jammu and Kashmir’s special status on August 5.
