New Delhi, Dec 15: On Sunday, a joint team the special task force of the Bihar police arrested two hardcore naxalites from two different places in West Champaran.
The forces also seized explosives from their possession. The two have been identified as Ramakant Rai and Basanti Oraon aged 58 and 55 respectively. Investigations have revealed that the two naxalites were planning a major revenge strike on December 13.

New Delhi, June 12: The National Investigation Agency has filed a supplementary chargesheet in connection with a fake currency case in Bihar.
The two accused named in the chargesheet are Shahnawaj Shaikh and Mannalal Choudhary. The case pertains to the recovery and seizure of fake Indian currency by the Bettiah police, Bihar. The police had seized fake currency to the tune of Rs 4 lakh.

Umar took over as the chief of the Al-Qaeda in the Sub-Continent (AQIS) in 2014.
