Lt. Gen. Chandi Prasad Mohanty takes over as Vice Chief of Indian Army


Lt Gen. Chandi Prasad Mohanty

New Delhi, Feb 01: Lt. Gen. Chandi Prasad Mohanty has taken over as the new Vice Chief of the Indian Army. He was commissioned into the Rajput Regiment in June 1982.

He was serving as the General Officer, Commanding in chief of Southern Command. Two weeks back, he was appointed as the 42nd Vice Chief of Army Staff.
