The Samjhauta Express case stands as it is and there will be no change in what the National Investigation Agency has already probed. The case is already at the trial stage which commenced on February 24 2014 says the NIA. The confusion was relating to the name of one Arif Kasmani a Lashkar-e-Tayiba believed to have funded the blasts. An NIA team had sought from the United State of America information relating to Kasmani. After the blasts, it was US intelligence report that indicated that, Kasmani may have funded the same. While the NIA is likely to quote this report before the court, it will not change the nature of the case, NIA officials say.Read more:
