New Delhi, Mar 25: A realtor in Delhi inspired by former Iraqi president, Saddam Hussain and his intelligence agencies who allegedly use thallium to kill political opponents used the toxin to target his wife and in-laws.
The police on Tuesday arrested 37 year old Varun Arora a resident of Greater Kailash for allegedly killing his mother-in-law. His wife has been in coma since February. The incident came to light on March 21 following a complaint by Devendra Mohan Sharma. He approached the police and said that his wife Anita Sharma had died at the Ganga Ram hospital and he suspected his son-in-law Arora.
The Special Investigating Team of the Delhi police is verifying the various statements given in connection with the relations between former union minister Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar. Tharoor had told the Delhi police last year that their relationship was perfectly fine. He was asked this after the death of Sunanda last year. Read more:
There has been a complete turn in the investigations into the death of Sunanda Pushkar, wife of former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor. The police investigating the case as a murder are also trying to ascertain the use of several substances such as Polonium 210, Thallium, snake venom among others which could have possibly caused her death.
