The police said that they have arrested two terrorists from the Sarai Kale Khan area. We received information about these two terrorists and on the basis of the same, a trap was laid, DCP (Special Cell) Sanjeev Yadav said.
The trap was laid near the Millennium Park, Sarai Kale Khan on Monday night.
New Delhi, July 29: The ISI is plotting a terror attack in Ayodhya, the Intelligence Bureau has learnt. IB sources tell OneIndia that Pakistan’s ISI is planning on launching an attack before August 15, with the Lashkar-e-Tayiba. The IB also says that a team of 5 persons of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba has been kept ready for the attack.
New Delhi, Dec 26: Top Intelligence Bureau officials have said that the ISI has sponsored a major attack in Punjab. It has planned on unleashing terrorists from the Khalistan forces to strike in various places in Punjab.
The intercepts picked up on the air waves suggest that the ISI has tasked the Babbar Khalsa to carry out the attack and there are attempts to smuggle the arms into Punjab.
New Delhi, July 28:Amidst apprehensions after additional troops were to Jammu and Kashmir, top sources say that the decision was taken in view of inputs suggesting major terror strikes.
During a meeting of the National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval with security forces, he was informed about Pakistan launching major strikes in the Valley. A requisition was made for additional troops in view of the same, the source told OneIndia.
Kanpur, Sep 14: The Uttar Pradesh Anti Terrorism Squad made a crucial arrest, following which a major attack was foiled. The ATS arrested a terrorist of the Hizbul Mujahideen from Kanpur and he has been identified as Qamer Uzzaman, 37.
The Jaish-e-Mohammad has claimed responsibility for the Pulwama attack at Jammu and Kashmir in which 8 security personnel were martyred. The group’s spokesperson Hasan Shah said that it was the Jaish which carried out the attack. Shah also detailed the entire operation to a local news agency in Pakistan. Intelligence Bureau officials tell OneIndia that they have managed to confirm that it was a Jaish led strike. It is being seen as a revenge strike, the IB officer also said.
New Delhi, Aug 17: A team of the Intelligence Bureau, Bureau of Civil Aviation and Home Ministry officials have begun conducting a security audit of airports across the country. The move comes following various intelligence bureau reports suggesting that airports in the country are extremely vulnerable to terrorist attacks.
The recent attack at the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul had given rise to concerns about security at airports. Intelligence Bureau reports regarding the vulnerability of the airports were also given following the attack at the Brussels Zaventem airport which claimed dozens of lives.
