subraBengaluru, Oct 7: Citing administrative disarray, Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to impose President’s rule in Tamil Nadu.
In a letter to the Home Minister, Swamy says that the union government should declare President’s rule in Tamil Nadu in view of the administrative disarray following the indefinite hospitalization of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and her having to remain for health reasons incommunicado.

National Herald case re-opened by Enforcement Directorate

sonrahBengaluru, Sept 18: The Enforcement Directorate has decided to reopen the National Herald case in which Congress President Sonia Gandhi is an accused.
The case had been closed by the ED which had cited technical reasons. However, now the ED has decided to re-open the case. The decision to re-open the case comes as a major victory to BJP leader Subramanian Swamy who is the complainant.

In the case it has been alleged that both Sonia Gandhi and Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi had alleged misappropriated funds in acquiring the ownership of the defunct English daily National Herald.

Jayalalithaa case- Swamy complains to Supreme Court

As the arguments in the J Jayalalithaa appeal before the Karnataka High Court is underway, the original complainant in the case, Subramanian Swamy has told the Supreme Court he could be deemed as a public prosecutor in the case.
jayaSwamy on Tuesday, Jan 6 told a Bench in the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu that he is not being permitted to make oral submissions or argue the case before the Karnataka High Court.
