What was Waze’s teething hurry to execute Antilla bomb scare a week before budget session

New Delhi, Apr 17: The National Investigation Agency are probing to find out why there were 62 unaccounted bullets at suspended Mumbai cop, Sachin Waze’s residence in Thane.

The NIA is probing if these bullets were to be given to two history sheeters who were to drive the vehicle laden with Mukesh Ambani’s residence. The original plan wast to get these two persons drive the vehicle to Ambani’s residence, following which Waze had allegedly planned to kill them in an encounter, officials probing the case said.

CBI to quiz Anil Deshmukh on Wednesday

New Delhi, Apr 13: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will record the statement of former Maharashtra Home Minister, Anil Deshmukh on Wednesday in connection with the Rs 100 crore extortion allegation levelled by former Mumbai Police Commissioner, Param Bir Singh. 

On Sunday the CBI questioned two of Deshmukh’s personal assistants for over 4 hours. The questioning took place based on the statements given by Singh and suspended Mumbai cop Sachin Waze against Sanjeev Palande and Kundan Shinde. Singh and Waze said that the two were privy to the demands made by Deshmukh.

Antilla bomb scare: NIA close to cracking motive, names Hiran as co-conspirator

New Delhi, Apr 08: The National Investigation Agency has claimed that businessman, Mansukh Hiran was a co-conspirator in the Antilla bomb scare case.

The NIA said that the other accused in the case conspired to eliminate Hiran between March 2 and 3.

Waze’s joint account, suspicious movement around crime scene under NIA scanner

New Delhi, Apr 04: The National Investigation Agency said that it has evidence to show that suspended Mumbai cop, Sachin Waze had suspiciously moved towards the crime scene on March 4, when Mansukh Hiran had gone missing.

“We have analysed the IPDR which shows the accused (Waze) suspiciously moved towards the scene of offence on March 4, the NIA told a court.

Lady arrested by NIA worked to whitewash Sachin Waze’s black money

New Delhi, Apr 02: The National Investigation Agency has detained a woman seen with suspended Mumbai cop Sachin Waze.

CCTV footage showed the lady leaving a hotel in South Mumbai with Waze before the Antilla bomb scare. The NIA conducted searches at the flat of the woman and even questioned her. It is alleged that the woman was working to whitewash Waze’s black money.

Waze wanted Hiran to own up in bomb scare case to prevent probe going to NIA, ATS

New Delhi, Apr 01: Suspended Mumbai cop, Sachin Waze was pressurising Mansukh Hiran to own up to parking the explosive laden vehicle outside the residence of Mukesh Ambani.

There was immense pressure being mounted by the Opposition in Maharashtra to hand over the probe to the National Investigation Agency. Waze on the other hand who was part of the Antilla bomb scare probe did not want the investigation to go out of his hand. By asking Hiran to own up to the crime, Waze wanted to shut the case and ensure that it was not handed over to the NIA or the Maharashtra ATS, a report in the Indian Express said.

New Delhi, Mar 31: A phone handed over to suspended Mumbai cop, Sachin Waze was used to contact the conspirators who eliminated Thane based businessman, Mansukh Hiran, the National Investigation Agency has said.

In its submissions before a Special Court, the NIA said that Waze and dismissed constable Vinayak Shinde attended a meeting where a conspiracy was hatched to eliminate Hiran.

Unaccounted bullets, Rs 12 lakh Trident bill makes Waze maze murkier

New Delhi, Mar 26: Even as suspended Mumbai cop, Sachin Waze claimed before a court that he was being made a scapegoat, the National Investigation Agency said that. It had recovered 62 unaccounted bullets and rounds from his home.

On Thursday, the Special court remanded Waze to NIA custody till April 3. Arguing on behalf of the NIA, additional solicitor general, Anil Singh said that apart from the 62 unaccounted bullets, the agency had found that Waze had been allowed 30 bullets for his service pistol as a police officer and 25 of those were missing.

Sachin Waze stayed in 5-star hotel with fake Aadhaar

New Delhi, Mar 23: The National Investigation Agency conducted a search operation at a five star hotel in Mumbai where suspended Mumbai cop, Sachin Waze had stayed recently.

The search was conducted at the Trident in South Mumbai, where Waze had reportedly stayed from February 16 to 20. He had reportedly booked a hotel room with a forged Aadhaar card. He had used his photo with a fictitious name on the card, NIA officials said.
