Terror at Israel Embassy: Iran’s Quds force used local module to plant bomb

New Delhi, Mar 08: The Indian investigating agencies have learnt that the Quds force of Iran was behind the terror plot at the Israel Embassy in Delhi in January.

The agencies have also found that a local module was used to plant the bomb. Investigators say that the bomb was a low intensity one and this clearly suggests that the group did not want any casualty. Further, Iran also did not want to rub a friendly nation like India the wrong way. It was clearly aimed at sending a message to Israel, officials tell OneIndia.

India remains committed to upholding rules based international order: Jaishankar at Quad

New Delhi, Oct 06: India remains committed to upholding rules based international order, underpinned by the rule of law, External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar said during the opening remarks at the QUAD Ministerial meeting at Tokyo, Japan. 

Our objective remains advancing the security and economic interests of all countries having legitimate and vital interests in the region. It is a mater of satisfaction that the Indo-Pacific concept has gained increasingly wider acceptance. The Indo-Pacific Ocean’s initiative that we tabled at the East Asia Summit last year is a development with considerable promise that context, Jaishankar also said.

With QUAD pitch in, India-Japan to tie up for 5G technologies

New Delhi, Sep 26: India and Japan will join hands in technical development of 5G and 5G plus technologies. This would be done with the help of other QUAD strategic members-US, Australia and Israel. The discussion of the QUAD foreign ministers will in Japan next month.

India and Japan have decided to pitch for 5G and plus technologies. India will also eye the 3GPP, umbrella mobile telecommunications standard organisation to accept the first Indian rural standard for telecommunication. This would be important as most of the 3GPP standards have been set by the Chinese telecommunication development companies.
