India-China troop disengagement complete at Pangong Lake

New Delhi, Feb 19: The troop disengagement of the Indian and Chinese armies on both sides of the Pangong Lake has been completed.

The Indian government had reiterated earlier this week that the military commander level talks would be held within 48 hours after the complete disengagement at Pangong Tso.

Rapid disengagement at LAC as Chinese dismantle tents, move back armoured vehicles

New Delhi, Feb 16: The Chinese PLA is in the process of a second round of disengagement at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh. The date of the next meeting of the military commanders is yet to be fixed. However the disengagement as decided in the last meeting is taking place as per plan.

The disengagement at the north and south banks of Pangong Lake is expected to be completed by Friday, official familiar with the developments tell OneIndia.

Army fast-tracked 12 specialised patrol boats for surveillance of Pangong Lake

New Delhi, Jan 02: The 12 specialised fast patrol boats would be deployed at the Pangong Lake, amidst the standoff with China.

The orders for the boats with advanced surveillance gear and equipment for patrolling were fast-tracked for patrolling the Pangong lake.
