Indian Army foils major infiltration bid by Pakistan terrorists

New Delhi, Jan 04: The Indian Army has foiled an infiltration bid by terrorists from Pakistan at the Bhimber Gali Sector.

The subsequent search conducted after the bid was foiled led to the recovery of ammunition and Pakistani currency left behind by the fleeing terrorists. Indian Army is vigilant and alert to the nefarious designs of Pakistan sponsored terrorists and determined to thwart any such attempts, PRO (Defence), Jammu said in a release.

The 150 meter ISI engineered tunnel was used by terrorists for 8 years

New Delhi, Jan 25: The Border Security Force on Saturday found a 150 meter long tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir, which was used by Pakistani terrorists to infiltrate into India.

The 30 feet deep tunnel was detected between Border Post number 14 and 15 near the BSF’s outpost at Pansar in Kathua district. The tunnel appears to be at least 8 years old a BSF official told OneIndia, while adding that this could have been used for long.

Mystery Pakistani woman detained

A 27-year-old Pakistani woman has been detained by the Railway Police at Jalandhar. Chand Khan was on the Samjhauta Express train and when asked about her passport, she failed to produce one. Chand Khan a resident of Karachi is being questioned for further details. An officer informed that she has been giving contradictory statements and hence she will be questioned further.
