passport1New Delhi, Dec 16: Be careful with your passport. There have been cases of passports and identification thefts and investigations show that it is being used to facilitate the entry of ISI agents into India to carry out espionage activities.
Passport thefts have been on rise and it was only a few years back that there was a data base suggesting the theft of 1,800 passports which included those of foreign nationals as well.

ISIS: IOC manager’s transcripts runs into 12,000 pages

The probe being conducted into the alleged activities of an ISIS sympathiser from Karnataka has led investigators to Maharashtra and Telangana. The Rajasthan ATS had two days back arrested one Sirajjudin, an official with the Indian Oil Corporation. Hailing from Karnataka, Sirajjudin was working with the IOC in Rajasthan and has been accused of propagating in favour of the ISIS and also instigating youth to join the outfit.

Bengaluru shocker: Girl raped inside moving bus

Bengaluru, Nov 6: Two persons have been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of an 18-year-old girl at Hoskote near Bengaluru. The incident is said to have occurred last night in a private bus. The cleaner and the driver of the bus have been arrested. According to the complaint the incident occurred at Lakondanahalli in the rural Bengaluru police station limits. It is alleged that the driver had ordered the cleaner to drive the bus. The driver is then alleged to have raped the 18 year old woman who is a nurse by profession.

ISIS Indian wing Ansar-ul–Tawhid behind Areeb Majeed messages

New Delhi, Oct 3: The account from which messages relating to Areeb Majeed were being posted has been traced to the Ansar-ul-Tawhid. A handle@spamci17 had put out a series of tweets claiming that Areeb Majeed one of the four youth who had joined the ISIS, had returned to India only to carry out a suucide attack on a police station (ISIS propaganda: Majeed return to bomb police station in India). The account has been taken down now following a series of tweets. Indian Intelligence Bureau officials say that the account was being handled by a member of the Ansar-ul-Tawhid or the erstwhile Indian Mujahideen. The IM members who have formed the AUT now recruit actively from India on behalf of the ISIS.

In Bihar polls, 130 candidates have serious criminal cases pending against them

New Delhi, Oct 3: In the forthcoming Bihar elections, 130 candidates have declared serious criminal cases including cases related to murder, attempt to murder, communal disharmony, kidnapping, crimes against women against them. Out of the 583 candidates the Association for Democratic Reforms has analysed, there are 174 candidates with pending criminal cases out of which 130 have serious criminal cases pending against them. 16 candidates have declared cases related to murder (Indian Penal Code Section-302). Pradeep Kumar of the Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) from Warsaliganj constituency has declared 4 charges related to murder while rest of the candidates face one charge each. 7 Independent candidates have declared cases related to murder.
