ISIS claims responsibility for Nice attack

Though the ISIS was slow to claim responsibility for the attack, it has said that the person who drove the truck and killed over 80 people was their soldier.

This was a message put out in 2014 by an ISIS operative while making a call for all lone wolves to kill Americans and the French.

The attack today at NICE is horrifically similar to the ISIS’ message posted in 2014. Not just the ISIS, but even the al-Qaeda had put out global calls to kill Westerners with cars. Today at NICE in France, a 31 year old man of Tunisian origin had killed 80 persons by running them over with his 25 tonne truck.

NICE terror- French-Tunisian identification papers found

Paris, July 15: Authorities in NICE have found identification papers of a French-Tunisian as a massive probe is launched into the truck terror strike today in which at least 80 have died and scores injured.
The anti terrorist investigators have taken over the probe. The investigators have also found that the truck which drove 100 meters before killing 77 was loaded with heavy weapons.

NICE terror despite France being under state of emergency: “you asked for it”, says ISIS

france2Paris, July 15: The attack at NICE, France took place despite the country being under a state of emergency. The President of France had only said a few hours before the attack that the state of emergency put in place after the attacks at Paris last November would not be extended beyond July 26.

With the NICE attack, the president of France, Francois Hollande said that he wants to add another three months more. The state of emergency had been extended twice to cover the Euro 2016 and also the Tour de France cycling race.

France: 80 dead in NICE terror attack

nice1Paris, July 15: In one of the most horrific attacks to have hit France, a person in a truck killed 77 and injured several more when he drove a truck at high speed into a crowd that was watching Bastille Day fireworks in the French Riviera city of Nice late on Thursday.
The police have killed the driver who drove the 25 tonne truck. Reports suggest that the man drover the truck for over a 100 meters into the crowd. The killer had also opened fire at the crowd. Local report state that 42 persons continue to remain in critical condition.

He also spoke about strengthening France’s role in both Iraq and Syria. Strengthening its fight in Syria and Iraq is one part of the plan. But the other issue is that the ISIS does not restrict itself to Syria or Iraq alone. It is fully aware that the battle in Syria and Iraq is virtually lost.
