Bengaluru: The United Nations Human Rights Council chief, Michelle Bachelet, was at it again. Under her direction, the UN rights panel has sought to intervene as the amicus curiae to assist the Supreme Court in adjudicating the constitutional validity of the newly amended citizenship law.

It may be recalled that in September 2019 she had raked the issue of communication blockage in Jammu and Kashmir. This, despite India raising severe security concerns and also saying that the issue relating to Jammu and Kashmir and Article 370 were entirely India’s internal matters.

On February 3, 2020, minister of state for parliamentary affairs, Pakistan, Ali Muhammad Khan said that the Ghazwa-e-Hind has begun. I am positive that I myself will uphold the flag of Pakistan and raise it high in Kashmir, he also said.

The important part in the minister’s speech is the use of the word Ghazwa-e-Hind, which means the holy raid of India. This is a phrase that has been used by terrorist organisations a lot. In the various protests that have taken place against the citizenship law, the role of radical Islamists has been found. These are the same radicals who preach Ghazwa-e-Hind and their sole intention is the destruction of India and the imposition of the Sharia law.

Bengaluru: In the month of December 2019, the National Investigation Agency carried out a spate of arrests in northeast Delhi’s Jafrabad. The NIA, which busted the Islamic State module said that they were not just making bombs. They were making a large number of bombs, the agency stated.
It is ironic to note that this module was operating in Jafrabad, the same area that was hit by severe violence last week in which over 40 persons died. A day ago, the Islamic State’s Telegram group Al Talaal Media sent a message calling on the Indian Muslims to crush the Modi government.

Ever since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of India, there has been a sustained effort on part of both the Islamic radicals and the Left wing backed Naxalites to crush his government.

The Islamic radicals have been for long trying to send out a message that Modi is anti-Muslim. The protests around the newly amended citizenship law are clearly centred around a larger agenda and that is to wipe out the Modi government.

Despite it being none of their business, the western mainstream media has gone to town about our immigration policy, the newly amended citizenship law and everything else that concerns our country, India.

What the western media does get but won’t tell is that the Hindus have been persecuted for years by Muslims in India. It is nothing new and it has happened for over eight centuries now. There has been a desperate attempt to get the newly amended citizenship law rolled back. Although it does not affect any Indian, there has been a sustained attempt on the part of the opposition to misguide the Muslims of the country.

Delhi witnessed one of its worst riots in recent times, with rapid mobs pelting stones and even killing a policeman. In the past two days, there have been several reports about how the violence was staged and orchestrated to time it with the Donald Trump visit. The sole agenda – embarrass India.

Five persons including a constable have lost their lives due to stone pelting, incidents and fire and shooting. While the Opposition is blaming the BJP for the violence, the fact of the matter is what would the party gain by inciting violence especially at a time when its government is hosting US President Donald Trump.

Category B, Category C terrorists of Lashkar gunned down in the Valley

New Delhi, Feb 22: In a major success for the forces, two terrorists have been killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir.

The encounter took place at the Gund Baba Khalil, Sangam at Anantnag. Both the slain terrorists belonged to the Lashkar-e-Tayiba. They have been identified as Naved Bhat alias Furqan and Aaqib Yasser Bhat.

The continued cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region and also the stability in Afghanistan would be two key issues that would be up for discussion between Trump and Modi.

There are a lot of expectations from Donald Trump during his India visit that begins today. The talks that the US President will hold with Prime Minister Modi will not just be bilateral in nature.
