At military commander level talks, India-China agree to follow important consensus

New Delhi, Feb 22: India and China held the 10th round of military commander level talks on February 20. 

The talks were held on the Chinese side of the Moldo/Chushul border meeting point. The two sides positively appraised the smooth completion of disengagement of frontline troops in the Pangong Lake area noting that it was a significant step forward that provided a good basis for resolution of other remaining issues along the LAC in Western Sector.

India-China working on mechanism to hold crucial military level talks

New Delhi, Jan 01: China and India are in consultations to hold the ninth round of military level talks, Chinese Defence Ministry spokesman Sr. Colonel Tan Kefei said. Tan said that the two sides have maintained consultations on disengagement of frontline troops and also strengthened the management of the border troops.

China is willing to maintain communication with India through military and diplomatic channels he also said. He also added that the border area is generally stable.

Nov 6 India-China talks to be held on Indian side of Chushul-Moldo border post

New Delhi, Nov 04: The next round of talks between India and China will be held on November 6. The 8th round of the military commander level talks will be held on the Indian side of Chushul-Moldo border post in Eastern Ladakh.

Trust deficit owing to massive build up between India-China military level talks
