New Delhi, Feb 22: India and China held the 10th round of military commander level talks on February 20.
The talks were held on the Chinese side of the Moldo/Chushul border meeting point. The two sides positively appraised the smooth completion of disengagement of frontline troops in the Pangong Lake area noting that it was a significant step forward that provided a good basis for resolution of other remaining issues along the LAC in Western Sector.
New Delhi, Jan 01: China and India are in consultations to hold the ninth round of military level talks, Chinese Defence Ministry spokesman Sr. Colonel Tan Kefei said. Tan said that the two sides have maintained consultations on disengagement of frontline troops and also strengthened the management of the border troops.
China is willing to maintain communication with India through military and diplomatic channels he also said. He also added that the border area is generally stable.
New Delhi, Nov 04: The next round of talks between India and China will be held on November 6. The 8th round of the military commander level talks will be held on the Indian side of Chushul-Moldo border post in Eastern Ladakh.
The talks are crucial and New Delhi hopes for partial disengagement at some friction points along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.
New Delhi, Aug 02: The military commander level talks between India and China will take place at Moldo opposite Chushul today. The talks will take place at 11 am. During the talks, both sides will discuss the disengagement process at the stand off points.
New Delhi, July 01: The talks between the XIV Corps Commander Lt. General Harinder Singh and South Xinjiang Military Regime Commander Major General Liu Lin continued late into Tuesday night.
While both sides spoke about disengagement, sources tell OneIndia that there was a trust deficit owing to the massive build-up by both sides along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The meeting was the third after the ones that were held on June 06 and June 22.
