Ludhiana blast: NIA registers case against Khalistanis, set to interrogate SJF terrorist in Germany

New Delhi, Dec 31: The National Investigation Agency has filed a case against Jaswinder SIngh Multani of the Sikhs For Justice in connection with the Ludhiana Blast case. Several other Khalistani elements too have been booked.

A team of the NIA is likely to Germany to question Multani who was detained after India provided concrete evidence and moved the diplomatic channels. The case against Multani was registered as the NIA needs to initiate proceedings to bring to India.

The Germany-Pakistan connection to the Ludhiana blast 

New Delhi, Dec 27: While it has been ascertained that a rogue cop had planted the bomb in the Ludhiana Court, further probe has revealed that the attack was part of a much larger plan. 

The Intelligence agencies have learnt that a Germany based Khalistan terrorist and another from the Babbar Khalsa in Pakistan had planned this attack after being tasked by the ISI.

Ludhiana blast: Terrorism, organised crime and drug mafia

New Delhi, Dec 25: The accused in the Ludhiana blast case had links with agencies abroad, Khalistans and drug mafia, the Punjab police said. Director General of Police, Siddharth Chattopadhyaya said that the police with the help of the central agencies had unravelled the blast incident within 24 hours. He said that when he had joined the police, terrorism was the only challenge, but now the drugs mafia, organised crime and terror have become a deadly cocktail and this blast is an example of that.

New Delhi, Dec 25: A preliminary analysis conducted by the National Security Guards post the Ludhiana Court complex blast has revealed that had all gone as per plan, the effects would have been devastating.

The suspect was identified as a Gagandeep Singh alias Gaggi. He was dismissed from service in 2019 for his alleged involvement in drug peddling. He was posted as the head constable at a police station in Khanna at the time of him being dismissed. The drug peddling case was investigated by the Ludhiana unit of the Special Task Force.

Ludhiana blast: Khalistan terrorists may have used suspect’s personnel vendetta

New Delhi, Dec 25: The investigation and analysis done by the Indian Intelligence suggest that the blast at Ludhiana may have wider ramifications than one may have expected.

Prime facie it appears that the blast was not just due to personal reasons, but was aimed at disrupting the upcoming Punjab elections. The intention was to create panic ahead of the elections. An Intelligence Bureau official tells OneIndia that the ISI through its Khalistan network may have tasked the dismissed cop to trigger the bomb in the court premises.

Ludhiana blast: A rogue cop’s link with the drug mafia crops up

New Delhi, Dec 25: A dismissed cop is suspected to be bomber at the Ludhiana district court complex.

An explosion at the court complex on Thursday killed one and injured four.
