From Rs 33 crore in 2014, Jyotiraditya Scindia’s assets grew to Rs 374 crore in 2019

jyotiraditya-scindiaNew Delhi, May 14: The average assets of these 335 re-contesting MPs fielded by various parties including independents in 2014 was Rs 16.79 Crores. Assets of Jyotiraditya M. Scindia of INC from Guna constituency has increased by Rs 341.47 Crores, from Rs 33.08 Crores in 2014 to Rs 374.56 Crores in 2019.

The average asset of these 335 re-contesting MPs in 2019 is Rs 23.65 Crores.

Just 12 per cent of candidates are women in 5th phase of LS polls

New Delhi, May 01: There are 126 candidates with pending criminal cases contesting the 5th phase of the Lok Sabha elections. A report by the Association for Democratic Reforms says that out of the 668 candidates analysed, 95 have declared serious criminal cases against them.

6 candidates have declared convicted cases against themselves. 3 candidates have declared cases related to murder (IPC Section -302) against themselves.

A report by the Association for Democratic Reforms states that Nakul Nath contesting from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh on a Congress ticket is worth Rs 6,60,19,46,757. His movable assets are worth Rs 6,18,41,72,757, while the immovable assets are valued at Rs 41,77,74,000.
