New Delhi, Aug 13: Speaking out for the first time since the abrogation of Article 370, Poland has made it clear that a solution to the Kashmir issue should be found bi-laterally. Poland currently holds the UNSC presidency.

The statement by Poland comes a few days after Russia, a permanent member of the UNSC made it clear that the move by India was carried out within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of India.

Nuclear war with India certain, says Hizbul chief Salahuddin

syed-salahuddin-HMIslamabad, Aug 8: Syed Salahuddin, the chief of the terrorist outfit, Hizbul Mujahideen has threatened that there will be a nuclear war against India over the Kashmir issue. Salahuddin, who has been given an open platform in Pakistan to speak, said on Monday that he could predict a 4th war with India with certainty.

Salahuddin further said that the people of Kashmir are no longer willing to compromise. “If Pakistan gives us the support then there can be a nuclear war with India,” he further said.

Pakistan’s Kashmir irritant for India, but key is not to be irritated

indo-opakPakistan did deliver the Kashmir message during the meeting of the two foreign secretaries that was held in New Delhi a while ago. There should be a just solution to the Kashmir issue, Pakistan said in a statement released following the meet.
The statement on Kashmir could be interpreted in many ways. Pakistan has several times in the past tried to throw in an irritant during the talks which has always led to the process being derailed. This time around both countries appear to be decided that they would do all it can to take the talks forward.

Indo-Pak talks: 8 dossiers that could not be shared

IMG_0511India had planned on confronting Pakistan with 5 crucial dossiers laden with proof. The dossiers would have been submitted had the National Security Advisor level talks taken place.
However the talks were cancelled after Pakistan told India that it could adhere to the condition that the Kashmir issue would not be discussed. India had painstakingly prepared the five dossiers and it is not clear how and when the same will be submitted to Pakistan. A senior official told OneIndia that the dossiers will be submitted and would not go waste.

The dossiers contain evidence and not allegations, the officer also informed. In all likelihood the dossiers between India and Pakistan may be exchanged at the United Nations next month where both the NSA’s are expected to be present.

Indo-Pak talks cancelled- Pak says can’t accept conditions


The National Security Advisor of Pakistan, Sartaj Aziz is likely not to visit India tomorrow. Paksitan is not agreeable to the clause that the talks will be centric to terrorism only and the Kashmir issue will not be discussed. Pakistan was particular that the talks shall include the Kashmir issue, a clause that India was not agreeable to.
