Tahir Hussain charged under anti-terror law for murder of IB staffer,former Cong councillor booked

New Delhi, Apr 23: Suspended Aam Aadmi Party councillor, Tahir Hussain has been booked under the anti-terror law in connection with the murder of Intelligence Bureau staffer, Ankit Sharma. He has been charged under the stringent provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

It may be recalled that he was arrested in connection with the murder of Sharma last month. The police has accused Hussain of rioting, murder and arson during the deadly riots that broke out in Northeast Delhi in February.

Ishrat files: Committee does not name anyone, recommends action against none

New Delhi, June 16: The one man committee which probed the missing papers relating to the Ishrat Jahan case has not recommended punitive action against anyone.
The report which only mentions the date the papers went missing has also not named anyone in the report that was submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday.

The report states that the papers went missing or may have been removed intentionally or unintentionally between September 18 and 28 2009.
