With over 2,000 infiltrations, terrorists swarm like bees in Bengal

The number of terrorists that infiltrated into India from Bangladesh in the past three years is 2,010. All these infiltrations have happened in West Bengal, Assam and Tripura.

The year 2016 saw a major increase in the number of operatives of the Huji and Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh infiltrating into India.

terThe questioning of Pakistani national Mohammad Nasir arrested in Hyderabad for his alleged links with the Harkat-ul-Jihadi Islami has revealed several details which includes the possibility of sleeper cells being set up in the city.

Nasir was arrested along with five others last week by the Hyderabad police and their activities in the city are being probed.

Bangladesh has arrested two key members of the al-Qaeda in the Sub Continent (AQIS). While these can be termed as important arrests, there is a larger message that one gets to witness.

The men arrested have been named as Mawlana Zafar Alim‎ and Maniul Islam. While Alim was the head of the AQIS in Bangladesh, Islam is a former chief of the radical Harkat-ul-Jihadi Islami or the HuJI.

Viqar Ahmed- The man who came close to assassinating Modi

viqarFive operatives of the Harkat-ul-Jihadi Islami funded, Tehreek Ghalaba E Islam including the deadly Viqarruddin Ahmed were killed in an encounter when they were trying to escape.
These operatives who had been arrested for acts of terror were being taken to a court in Warangal when they tried to snatch weapons from the police and escape. The police however managed to over power them and killed them in an encounter that took place in broad day light.

Hyderabad is Al-Qaeda hub

HuM designated, Great leap in war against terror

Designating the leaders of the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen as Specially Designated Global Terrrorists is a blessing for the Indian security agencies. The Harkat-ul-Mujahideen had entered into a deadly coalition along with Pakistan based militant groups and also the siikh militants groups towards the turn of 2014 and this coalition known as the Jabbar-ul-Mujahideen had started to look lethal. These sanctions become all the more important today with the Al-Qaeda launching its India wing and the proximity between thhe HuM, AQ and SIMI is an open secret.

Hindu leaders’ elimination plot- Case bungled?

nialogonewA year back a major conspiracy to assassinate Right Wing leaders involving youth from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Hubli and Nanded was busted. According to the National Investigation Agency it was a coordinated effort between the youth of the above mentioned places to plot and assassinate Right Wing leaders who they felt were threatening their religion.
The NIA after much running around has finally managed to piece a chargesheet in which accused 14 youth of conspiracy and also promoting enmity between religions.

Terrorists and politicians

‎Are some politicians linked to terrorists? If a terrorist is known to a politician does that mean he has a direct link with the activities of a terrorist organisation?
In West Bengal the Intelligence Bureau has very often complained about a political party doling out support to the Jammat-ul-Islami and the Chattra Shabir. In Kerala political outfits are accused of being kind of some radical members of the SIMI where as in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar it would be the Indian Mujahideen and in Hyderabad the HuJI.
