Top Khalistan movement conspirator held by NIA in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 23: An absconding Khalistan terrorist Gurjeet Singh Nijjar, who was hiding in Cyprus (Europe) was arrested at New Delhi Airport by the National Investigation Agency. 

A case had been registered in 2019 against an accused Harpal Singh under Section 3 & 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 read with sections 37 & 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951 and section 20 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.

NIA thwarts revival of Khalistan movement

New Delhi, May 25: The National Investigation Agency has thwarted attempts made by some persons to establish a separate Khalistan state.

Accused Harpal Singh son of Pratap Singh Naik was arrested by ATS, Maharashtra and an illegal weapon along with five live rounds was seized from his possession. During investigation, Mohiuddin Siddiqui son of Munna Khan, a wanted accused, was arrested on . The case was subsequently taken over by NIA for investigation.
