Even as candidates continue their campaign for the Karnataka Assembly Elections, the entire day today was about the allegations made against senior BJP leader L K Advani.
One of the first to react to the allegation was H D Deve Gowda, JD(S) supremo and former Prime Minister of India. ” Where is Advani and where is Dhananjay Kumar? The allegations need to be substantiated and people should not make wild allegations, Gowda said.
H D Deve Gowda has equated the manifesto of his party, the Janatha Dal (S) to a Bhagwad Gita, Quran and the Bible.
The Janatha Dal (S) which is hopeful of bettering its position has focused on two crucial points in its manifesto. Farmers and corruption are the two major aspects of its manifesto and the party says that it would be implemented religiously if voted into power.
