Indian operatives were in touch with accused in Sri Lanka bombings

img_0039-2New Delhi, May 15: The chat transcripts of two Indian operatives came under the scanner of the agencies post the suicide blasts at Sri Lanka.

Kasim Stimerwala and Ubed Mirza who were arrested by the Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad were in touch with Aadhhil, a suspect in the Sri Lanka blasts through WhatsApp, the agencies in India have learnt.


After a 11 year chase, key accused in Ajmer blasts case held

New Delhi, Nov 26: In a major break-through the Gujarat Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested an accused in the 2007 Ajmer Dargah blast case. Suresh Nair, was held by the ATS at Bharuch, following a tip off that suggested he was going to visit, Shukltirth, a religious place on the banks of the Narmada river.

Key suspect in IISC attack held by Gujarat ATS

A key operative of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba wanted in the Indian Institute of Sciences attack, Bengaluru has been arrested in Tripura by the Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad.

The operative has been identified as Habib Miya. He is also wanted in some cases in Gujarat and will be taken to the state where he will be questioned.

Underworld with terror groups plotting communal divide

It appears as though the underworld has come into the picture once again with a view of causing communal tension in India. The 1993 Mumbai serial blasts for the first time saw the underworld and the terrorists coming together. A few days back there was an intelligence alert which stated that some groups will look to cause communal tension in the country.

There have been stray incidents over the past couple of months which have seen plots being hatched to increase the communal divide in India. Signs of the underworld being roped in to create communal tension was evident in the probe conducted by the Gujarat police into the killing of two BJP leaders at Bharuch earlier this month. The ATS has found that it was a contract given by Javed Chikna, an accused in the 1993 serial blasts case.
