Embassy blast: Delhi cops question cab driver who ferried suspects

New Delhi, Jan 30: The Delhi Police has observed two suspects getting off the cab moments before the minor blast outside the Israel Embassy in Delhi.

After observing the CCTV footage, the cops found that the two suspects were getting off a cab moments before the blast. The cab driver has been identified and is being questioned by the Delhi Police.

Army says cops should not be wearing combat uniform

New Delhi, Feb 26: The Indian Army has urged the Centre not to let cops wear combat gear in Delhi.

The Army has written to the Defence ministry saying that the Home Ministry should issue instructions that combat gear should not be worn by Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) while being deployed to handle law and order situations or being deployed in urban areas affected by terrorism. The Army says that the surroundings do not demand such a requirement.

JNU row: Delhi cops launch manhunt for 20 ‘anti-nationals’

jnsuNew Delhi, Feb 27: The Delhi police have launched a manhunt for 20 persons who were in the JNU campus on February 9 when anti national slogans were raised.
The 20 persons were identified on the basis of the 12 videos that the Delhi police have with them regarding the February 9 event which was organised to celebrate the martyrdom of Afzal Guru who was convicted for his role in the parliament attack.

JNU row- Delhi cops say some suspects in the campus

jnucampNew Delhi, Feb 17: The Delhi police is in talks with the administration of the JNU after it has been found that some of the accused persons were still on the campus.
The police has been trying to arrest some persons who were part of the protest at the JNU in which anti national slogans were allegedly shouted.
