20 MLAs with criminal record, 46 crorepatis in Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly

New Delhi, Dec 02: In the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, out of 65 sitting MLAs analysed, 20 (31%) MLAs have declared criminal cases against themselves.

14 (22%) MLAs have declared serious criminal cases, according to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms.

MLAs with declared cases related to murder: 2 MLAs have declared cases related to murder (IPC section 302).

MLAs with declared cases related to attempt to murder: 1 MLA has declared case related to attempt to murder (IPC section 307).

14 with criminal record and 28 crorepatis in new Rajasthan Cabinet

New Delhi, Nov 24: The Rajasthan Cabinet was analysed recently which was aimed at easing the tensions between Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. The Association for Democratic Reforms analysed the affidavits of 30 ministers and found that 14 had declared pending criminal cases against them.

Further it was stated that of the 14 ministers, 9 had serious criminal cases against themselves.

31 of 32 ministers in Tamil Nadu are crorepatis

New Delhi, May 11: There are 28 ministers who have declared criminal cases in the new Tamil Nadu ministry. 16 (50%) ministers have declared serious criminal cases against themselves says a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms. 

Out of the 32 ministers analysed, 31 (97%) are crorepatis. The average assets of 32 ministers analysed is Rs 11.71 crores.

Out of 543 Winners analysed during Lok Sabha 2009 elections, 315(58%) Winners were crorepatis says a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms.

Out of 301 Winners from BJP, 43 (84%) out of 51 Winners from INC, 22 (96%) out of 23 Winners from DMK, 20(91%) out of 22 Winners fielded by AITC, 19(86%) out of 22 Winners fielded by YSRCP, and 18(100%) Winners from SHS have declared assets worth more than Rs. 1 crore.
