New Delhi, Aug 1: The National Investigation Agency recovered a huge amount of arms and ammunition from the residence of a Congress MLA in Manipur. The recovered items included a pistol which was stolen from the Director General of Police, all agency, NIA officials said.
The worries for the Congress and JD(S) does not appear to end. After being undecided about whether they should shift to Kerala, the legislators made a late night decision and proceeded to Hyderabad. The MLAs first checked into Grand Hyatt. Now the legislators have moved to Taj Krishna. The reason for the change in place is not clear. For the legislators it was virtually an escape from the Eagleton Resort at Bidadi, which is around 38 kilometres away from Bengaluru.
The news that the chartered flights meant to fly the Congress-JD(S) MLAs out of the HAL airport was denied permission is fake. The MLAs who are jumping resorts to keep their flock together had alleged that the Director General of Civil Aviation had sent out an unofficial word to the airport to ground the planes.
