Naxal alert declared ahead of Bihar Elections 2020

New Delhi, Oct 20: An Intelligence Bureau report has warned of a possible naxalite attack during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2020. The naxalites are planning on an ambush on politicians and also security forces, an IB report prepared ahead of the elections says.

The National Investigation Agency has filed an explosive chargesheet against in the Bhima Koregaon case. It has exposed the nexus between the naxalites and their sympathisers in the urban areas.

Bhima-Koregaon: NIA seeks transfer of all case records from Pune to Mumbai

bhhima-koregaon-activitsNew Delhi, Jan 29: The National Investigation Agency has filed an application in a Pune sessions court seeking transfer of all records in connection with the Bhima Koregaon case.

The NIA informed the court that a fresh FIR has been filed in the case and hence all records be transferred to the Special NIA court in Mumbai.

NIA team takes over probe into Bhima Koregaon case

The three-member team of the central agency landed on Monday morning and later met officials of the city police handling the sensitive case, which has triggered a new round of war of words between ruling and opposition parties in Maharashtra, the sources said.

There has also been a demand to drop cases against some of the activists, who have alleged Naxalite links.
