Intelligence agencies who have been analysing the attacks in Sri Lanka tell OneIndia that the manner in which strikes were carried out clearly suggest that neither the National Towheed Jamath (NTJ) or the ISIS could have carried out the attack on its own.

Illegal construction in B’luru: 14 officials suspended, action against 20 recommended

BBMP-370x277Bengaluru, Aug 10: The Karnataka government has suspended 14 officials after it was alleged that they were involved in allowing illegal constructions to take place in Bengaluru.
The 14 officials are part of a list released by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) which has recommended the names of 20 officials who are alleged to have let illegal constructions take place in the city. The names have been recommended in the wake of the BBMP undertaking a major drive to clear illegal constructions on storm water drains.

Woman allegedly raped in Bangalore

A 30-year-old woman has allegedly been gangraped in the Tennis Club at Bengaluru. Following the complaint the police have arrested two security guards working at the club. The lady a resident of Tumkur had come on Wednesday, Nov 11 to the club to enroll as a member. However, she was told to come back the next day in order to complete the formalities. The lady decided to stay back in Bengaluru and even took up accommodation near the club. According to the complaint, two security guards had been watching her all along.

Bomb threat at Del-Blr airports a hoax

A bomb threat at the Delhi and Bengaluru airports receivd this morning put security focrces into a tizzy. The threat was however declared a hoax after massive search operations were conducted by the CISF at both the airports. A call threatening to blow up six international flights at both Delhi and Bengaluru was received this morning. Security was immediately stepped up and the CISF personnel conducted a thorough search. However the threat was declared hoax after the search operations were conducted. Normal operations at both the airports have now resumed after the threat was declared a hoax.
