New Delhi, Dec 18: The government on Saturday appointed new chiefs to the Research and Analysis Wing and the Intelligence Bureau. Anil Kumar Dhasmana an expert on Balochistan will take charge as the R&AW chief on January 30.

The 1981 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IPS officer is an expert on Balochistan, counter terrorism and Islamic affairs. His appoint comes at a time when the Union Government has raised the issue of Balochistan to counter the narrative by Pakistan.
