New Delhi, Jan 13: In its chargesheet against a medical doctor accused of furthering the cause of the Islamic State, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) said that the accused had used his knowledge to develop applications for the outfit.
The NIA charged Abdur Rehman alias Dr. Brave and said that he had furthered the ideology and and activities of the ISIS in connivance with co-accused Jahanazib Sami and others to commit subversive and anti-national activities in India.
New Delhi, Aug 19: The ophthalmologist Abdur Rehman who was arrested by the National Investigation Agency in Bengaluru was in the process of developing a medical application to help the injured Islamic State terrorists.
He had visited an ISIS medical camp in Syria in early 2014 for treatment of ISIS terrorists and stayed with Islamic State operatives for 10 days and returned to India, the NIA said. He was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the Islamic State Khorasan Province case.
India’s bane is Pakistan’s gain. The dreaded ISI of Pakistan has acquitted another person from India called Abdur Rehman who heads the Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam. Rehman is currenty in Karachi and his stay over there is causing nightmares for the Indian agencies especially the National Investigating Agency which is fighting a hard battle to wipe out terror in Assam.
Rehman is probably one of the most notorious persons in Assam and has been responsible to consistently stalling peace apart from aiding Bangladesh and Assam based terror groups in furthering violence.
