NIA arrests 4 drug traffickers who supplied funds for Lashkar’s operations

New Delhi, Mar 02: The National Investigation Agency has arrested four persons in connection with a narco-terror case in Handwara.

The case was originally registered by the Jammu and Kashmir police after a vehicle was intercepted. During the search Rs 20 lakh along with 2 kilograms of heroin was seized.

New Delhi, Jan 06: A major operation carried out by the Sri Lankan Navy in which drugs worth over Rs 600 million was seized once again points to the hand of the ISI, which has been operating in the region to raise funds for terror.

In an operation carried out in the sea area of Negombo, the Navy seized Crystal Methamphetamine (100 kgs) and Hashish (80 kgs). Four persons were also apprehended and a multiway fishing trawler used in the operation was also seized.

Narco terror: Drug proceeds sent to Pakistan and Kashmir says NIA

New Delhi, Jan 06: The National Investigation Agency has filed a chargesheet in the Hizbul Mujahideen narco terror case before the Special Court in Mohali, Punjab.

The case was filed in Amritsar following the arrest of one Hilal Ahmed Shergojri from whom Rs 29 lakh in cash was recovered. The NIA took over the case in May 2020.

Days after big drug bust in Bengaluru, CCB seizes 100 grams of MDMA

New Delhi, Dec 23: Three drug peddlers including a Nigerian national have been arrested in Bengaluru.

The Central Crime Branch has seized 100 grams of MDMA worth around Rs 5 lakh. The CCB has also seized a car, bike and cash.

New Delhi, Dec 22: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Bangalore Zonal Unit has seized 3,000 units of Yellow and Grey coloured polls of MDMA (610) grams from a parcel at Foreign Post Office, Bangalore.

The consignment was concealed in layers of table cloth. 2 persons including a women arrested in the case.

Sri Lankan boat with 100 kgs of Pak drugs intercepted by Coast Guard

New Delhi, Nov 25: The Indian Coast Guard has seized drugs including 100 kilograms of heroin from a Sri Lankan boat.

The seizure was made south of Thoothukudi during an operation, which began on November 17. Sources tell OneIndia that actionable intelligence led to the seizure of the drugs.

New Delhi, Nov 04: The Enforcement Directorate has found that the business built by Bineesh Kodiyeri, the son of Kerala CPI (M) state secretary were allegedly from the proceeds of a narcotics trade and transfer posting of bureaucrats.

A lot of information has been in trickling in from the interrogation of Anoop Mohammad, the Bengaluru based drug peddler, who was arrested by the ED.

New Delhi, Oct 30: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday arrested Bineesh Kodiyeri, the son of Kerala CPI (M) state secretary. The agency alleged that 5he had pumped into a huge amount of funds into the account of drug peddler Anoop Mohammad.

Further the ED said that Mohammad was just a benami of Bineesh. He ensured funds from various sources for drug peddling. Bineesh who was arrested in Bengaluru has been remanded in ED custody for four days.

More action on the anvil as NCB boss takes stock of Bollywood drug probe

New Delhi, Oct 23: The Bollywood drug probe will gain more steam in the coming weeks. Several more A-listers are set to be questioned over the next couple of weeks, officials familiar with the developments told OneIndia. Several A-listers from Bollywood have come under the scanner of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is investigating the drug angle in film actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
