India looking for comprehensive disengagement covering all friction points along LAC


New Delhi, Oct 16: Both India and China have exchanged proposals on the disengagement process along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. Sources tell OneIndia that India is looking for a comprehensive disengagement that covers all friction points.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar whole addressing a conclave hinted that that something was on. He said that discussions are on and what is going on is something confidential between us and the Chinese.

  1. I hope we will take note of the fact that China has constructed permanent structures in depth locations that would facilitate rapid deployment and action on frontlines. Unless and until the LAC is mutually demarcated and inked all along the border, we should remain eye ball to eye ball. Xi Jinping has called on the PLA to get ready for war. I am sure the Indian Army and Airforce commanders understand the implications, do the mandarins appreciate their concerns? Previous governments did not, will the present do? Hopefully yes.
