  1. What is the meaning of ‘strategic assessment’ in the light of the land grabbing being conducted by China and the tactical situation created by laying claims to additional territories and in the face of battle
    like situation created in Ladakh and elsewhere? There can only be 180 degrees difference in the assessments. Why is China not willing to draw the LAC, agree on the basis of cartographic records of recent vintage, not on the basis of some unknown kings having visited the areas in unknown times. That alone can lead to convergence of future strategic assessments.
