Haryana: 12 of 12 candidates with criminal background won polls against those with clean background


haryana-assembly1New Delhi, Jan 10: 21 per cent of the MLAs won with a 50 per cent vote share in the recently concluded Haryana Assembly elections.

A report by the Association for Democratic Reforms said that 19(21%) MLAs won with 50% and above of the total votes polled in their constituency. 71(79%) MLAs won with less than 50% of the total votes polled in their constituency. 3(25%) out of 12 MLAs analysed with declared criminal cases have won with a vote share of 50% and above.
