Won’t close foreign accounts, let me go abroad: Karti Chidambaram
Karti Chidambaram has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that he will not close his foreign bank accounts, if permitted to go abroad. The matter has been posted for hearing tomorrow as the Centre’s counsel sought time to take instructions. Karti sought permission from the Supreme Court to travel abroad between October 19 and November 13. He said that he needed to make this trip as he had to admit his daughter for higher studies at the Cambridge University for the year 2018-19.
