Al-Qaeda operative brought to India from Saudi Arabia
In a successful operation, India has managed to bring back an al-Qaeda operative from Saudi Arabia. The alleged operative identified as Syed Mohammad Zishan Ali is said to be associated with the al-Qaeda in the Sub-Continent or AQIS. He was wanted in several cases by the Special Cell of the Delhi police. He is a resident of Jamshedpur in Jharkhand and was operating out of Saudi Arabia, a Delhi police official said. He is incidentally married to the sister of Kafeel Ahmed, the engineer from Bengaluru who carried out the Glasgow bombing of 2007.
