Rs 573 crore spent on 5 state polls: Check tables

votePolitical parties spent Rs 573.24 crore on the assembly elections held in the five states of Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The West Bengal state units of parties spent Rs 110.62 crore while the BJP and Congress spend Rs 230.77 crore and Rs 57.2 crore on the candidates. Political parties are required to submit a statement of election expenditure to the Election Commission within 75 days of completion of Assembly Elections.
