For insulting Hindu Gods, Karnataka writer’s face smeared with black oil


A writer cum activist in Karnataka faced the wrath of some people when his face was smeared with black oil. Yogesh Master who had authored the controversial novel Dundhi was at a tea stall when nine persons smeared his face with black oil.

He was threatened with dire consequences if he did not stop showing Hindu Gods in poor light. The incident took place in Davanagere.
