UP elections: SP confident of 2012 blockbuster performance

kamal akhileshSunday witnessed a 61.16 per cent polling percentage in the third phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2017. At the end of polling, all parties expressed confidence of forming the next government in Uttar Pradesh. For the Samajwadi Party this phase was extremely crucial as in 2012 it had put up a blockbuster performance.
In 2012, the SP had won 55 of the 69 seats. Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said after casting his vote that the SP government has done adequate work in the state and there is no reason why the voters will not chose the party again.
